The best day of the semester is back! But we can’t do it without you…and your pets!

The Center for Service and Social Justice hosts Pet Therapy: Canines on Campus twice each year on the last Tuesday of September and the last Tuesday of April. The goal is to provide stress relief and joy to students, staff and faculty on campus before midterms and finals.

Bring your pup. Take a break. Spread some joy!

If you are able, please bring a very social, fully vaccinated dog who is comfortable around lots of people and other dogs to campus for this session on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. on the Dionne Green. The rain location is Byron Center.

Bringing a dog?

Dog owners do not need to be University of Scranton students or employees to participate. However, all dog owners must register in advance and complete the required waivers.

Anyone able to bring a dog should register no later than Friday, Sept. 25, via Pet Therapy Registration.

Waivers for owners and dogs will be sent via email prior to the event. Please print, sign and bring the completed waivers to the event for check-in.

For more information, please contact Ellen.Judge@scranton.edu, Outreach Program Coordinator.

Just coming to visit the dogs?

This event is open to University of Scranton students, faculty, and staff who have a valid Royal Card for campus access.
