Temperatures and humidity are back up with isolated to scattered rain and storms today.

Pockets of rain pass through this morning with a chance for some heavy downpours. The rain is expected to taper off this afternoon. A few late day showers are possible for Western PA, but much of the coverage will shift to south of Pittsburgh. As of now, the rain should move out in time for the Pitt game.

The Autumnal Equinox is next Tuesday, September 22nd. The forecast is still deciding if it wants to be summer or fall. Seasonal to slightly above-average temperatures will linger through the upcoming weekend. Rain chances will return likely Sunday and could last well into next week.
