This week’s ICYMI segment celebrates the journey of Hello Erie, from its exciting debut earlier this week to the connections the show continues to make throughout the community.
When Hello Erie launches, the show kicks things off with an incredible lineup of guests who help showcase the spirit of Erie. Community leaders, local entertainers, student groups and fan-favorite mascots all stop by to welcome viewers to the new morning show.
Among those joining the celebration are Mayor Daria Devlin, Dr. Natalyn Gibbs, comedian Dale Norman, Otto from the Erie Otters and C. Wolf from the Erie SeaWolves. Their appearances help set the tone for what Hello Erie strives to be: a show centered on the people, organizations and stories that make the Erie region special.
Since that first episode, Hello Erie continues to grow thanks to strong community support. Hosts Traci Teudhope and Belle Fahey have the opportunity to meet viewers at events across the region, participate in community activities and even throw out a ceremonial first pitch at an Erie SeaWolves game.
One of the most rewarding parts of the experience is hearing from viewers. Whether through social media messages, emails or conversations around town, community members regularly share how much they enjoy the show and appreciate seeing local people and positive stories featured each morning.
The ICYMI segment serves as a chance to reflect on everything Hello Erie has accomplished so far while looking ahead to what’s next. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to say thank you to the viewers, guests and community partners who continue to make the show possible.
