Veterans were honored in a hockey tournament this weekend ahead of the holiday on Tuesday.
The Veterans showcase began on Friday and wraps up on Sunday afternoon.
40 teams and 650 athletes traveled from New York, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania to compete. Games took place at the Erie Insurance Arena, the Flo Fabrizio Ice Center, LECOM Sports Park, and the Mercyhurst University Ice Center. The championship game is set for Sunday at 4:00 p.m..
