Music will once again fill the streets, porches, and front lawns of Erie’s West Bayfront neighborhood as the 7th Annual West Bayfront PorchFest takes place on September 26.
The community music festival will feature dozens of local and regional performers playing free outdoor shows at homes, churches, and neighborhood venues throughout the West Bayfront district. Music begins at noon and continues through the afternoon, culminating with an official after-party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Altered State Distillery.
PorchFest, inspired by similar grassroots festivals held across the country, transforms neighborhood porches into stages, allowing residents and visitors to walk from location to location and enjoy a wide variety of musical styles.

The day concludes with a 5:00 p.m. performance by The V-Band at St. Andrews Church, 1116 W. 7th St. Following an official after party will be held from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. with Division Street Machine at Altered State Distillery.
The festival is presented with support from numerous community organizations and sponsors, including Our West Bayfront, the Erie Arts & Culture Alliance, ECGRA, Bauer Specialty, and several local businesses and community partners.
The event is designed to celebrate neighborhood culture, showcase local talent, and encourage residents and visitors to explore one of Erie’s most historic neighborhoods.
With performances spread across dozens of locations and genres ranging from folk and acoustic music to rock, jazz, and steel drum ensembles, PorchFest offers a unique, walkable music experience for attendees of all ages.
Admission to West Bayfront PorchFest is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, walk between venues, and enjoy an afternoon of live music throughout the neighborhood.
