WYOMISSING, Pa. – A restaurant serving up made-to-order breakfast skillets, hot sandwiches, mixed grill platters and more has ended operations in Berks County.
Sam’s Wyomissing Bistro, offering freshly prepared dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, held its last day of operation on Sunday at 1714 State Hill Road in Wyomissing.

The full-service dining establishment opened in May 2025.
“Thank you for every visit,” reads a closing announcement on the business’ Facebook page.
“Thank you for every meal. Thank you for every smile and kind word. Thank you for supporting our restaurant and being part of our journey.”

Sam’s served up breakfast selections such as omelets, French toast, pancakes, specialty Benedicts and breakfast skillets, burritos and sandwiches.
For lunch and dinner, guests could enjoy appetizers such as burrata, quesadillas, mussels Portofino and crispy shredded Brussels sprouts and quesadillas; handhelds such as a brisket sandwich, fried crab cake sandwich, stuffed portobello sandwich and Sam’s gyro; and entrees such as chicken Tuscano, cilantro lime salmon, lobster mac and cheese, Mediterranean red snapper, pork loin chop and 12-ounce New York strip.
Other menu highlights included a variety of burgers, flatbreads, salads and mixed grill options.
Sam’s Wyomissing Bistro, named after owner and chef Sam Abbas, occupied a renovated space that previously housed other dining establishments, including Arner’s, Giannotti’s and, most recently, The Berkshire Family Restaurant.
“This past year may have been shorter than we hoped, but the memories we made with you will stay with us,” the announcement continues.
“Our doors may be closing, but our gratitude will never fade. Thank you for being part of our restaurant family.”
