CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police responded to an apparent shooting outside of a downtown nightclub early Saturday morning.
Video from the scene captured a heavy police presence near North Clark and West Erie streets in the city’s River North neighborhood.

Multiple ambulances were called to that area, but it was not immediately clear how many people were hospitalized.
An ABC7 crew observed officers looking at shell casings that littered the street.
What led up to the apparent gunfire was not immediately clear.
Authorities did not immediately provide additional information.
