It felt like fall in Erie on Saturday with cloudy skies and cooler temperatures, but that didn’t stop people from heading out to Fuhrman’s Cider Festival.
The annual event brought crowds to Luminary Distilling off Peach Street for an afternoon filled with live music, local vendors and plenty of fall favorites.
Attendees got their first taste of the season with Fuhrman’s cider and cider slushies, along with freshly made baked goods. Adults could enjoy craft cocktails, while kids had the chance to pick out pumpkins.
Local bands and artists provided live entertainment throughout the afternoon, while numerous craft vendors gave people the chance to shop and browse.
“Fall gets closer we start doing more stuff inside. It’s nice to get some of those pack in some of those last hurrahs to go out and to really experience fall and with things like apple cider donuts, and just getting together, people just hanging out and seeing family”. Joel Normand, the Owner of Luminary Distilling, Fuhrman’s Cider, Eatery said.
The festival has become a tradition that many people look forward to every year. Part of the proceeds raised from this year’s event will benefit the Perry Hi-Way Hose Company.
