On Saturday, residents in Scranton celebrated the place they call home at ‘Welcoming Scranton.’
Community members came out to Cedar Avenue for a day of connection and fun.
The event highlights the traditions, cultures, and people that make the Electric City so unique.
‘Welcoming Scranton’ featured cultural performances, vendors, and informational booths for various local resources.
“This event celebrates the long-term residents and newcomers getting to know one another, getting to know each other’s stories and celebrating the cultural diversity of the area,” said Audrey Golosky.
‘Welcoming Scranton’ has brought the community together for 10 years.
