Police investigate shooting of man found in Wilkinsburg

Police are investigating after a man was found shot on Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg, though the shooting reportedly occurred in Turtle Creek.

Police are investigating after a man was found shot on Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg early this morning.

Authorities said police and medics were called to the scene just after 6 a.m., where they found the victim.

Investigators said the man was not shot at that location and believe the shooting happened at another, unknown location in Turtle Creek.

The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Police are working to determine where the shooting took place.
