U of Scranton students win at regional IEEE Conference – Scranton Times-Tribune

Students and faculty members representing the University of Scranton had a strong showing in March at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Region 1 and 2 Student Activities Conference, hosted at Rowan University in New Jersey. Scranton teams won first place in two of the six competitions (MiniPupper and MicroMouse). Additionally, Alfred Kumi-Atiemo Jr., an electrical engineering major from Stroudsburg, placed third in the individual Brown Bag event. The competitions tasked students with designing and programming robots to perform tasks including pulling a rope and escaping a maze.
