Philadelphia police are investigating an argument that escalated into gunfire at a youth football game in Roxborough.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police are investigating an argument that escalated into gunfire at a youth football game in Roxborough.

Officers were called to Hagy’s Field on the 600 block of Port Royal Avenue just before 2 p.m. Saturday.

Police were told a disagreement escalated between attendees and one of the game referees, and a shot was fired.

No one was hit.

There’s no word on who fired the shot, or whether any charges will be filed.
