A property that has hosted taverns for decades will soon reopen with a new name in the Lehigh Valley.
Coplay Cabin, 33 N. Second St. in Coplay, announced it will have a grand opening at 2 p.m. Friday.
The property used to host 2nd Street Tavern before Rick Safi, who owns the King Kone ice cream store in Whitehall Township, purchased it for renovations and rebranding.
It operated as the Log Cabin Tavern for roughly 30 years before it became the 2nd Street Tavern in 2019.
