Nick Singleton, the former Gov. Mifflin star, added another line to his already impressive football resume.
Singleton made his NFL debut on Sunday in the Tennessee Titans’ 24-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Nashville.
Singleton carried four times for 10 yards after not getting into the Titans’ season-opener last week.
During his stellar career at Gov. Mifflin, Singleton scored 116 touchdowns and rushed for 6,326 yards. He gained 2,043 yards his senior season and scored 41 touchdowns, earning him the Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year award.
He then went to Penn State and starred four seasons for the Nittany Lions.
He finished his time in Happy Valley with 3,461 yards rushing. He also had 987 yards receiving and 1,138 in kick returns.
The Titans drafted him in the fifth round this past NFL Draft.
Tony Pollard is the starting running back for Tennessee with Tyjae Spears and Singleton the backups.
