An Erie man accused of possessing child pornography pleaded guilty to multiple charges on the eve of his scheduled trial.
Jury selection in the case against 30-year-old Conner Orloff was set to begin September 15 in Erie County Court. Instead of proceeding to trial, Orloff entered guilty pleas to all charges filed against him.
The plea includes five counts of possession of child pornography, as well as charges of corruption of minors and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Hillary B. Hoffman on behalf of the Commonwealth.
Sentencing is scheduled for December 21 before Senior Judge William R. Cunningham.
As a result of the guilty plea, a jury trial will no longer be necessary.
