LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A woman is dead after a domestic shooting Tuesday in a residential neighborhood in Loudoun County, Virginia, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies were called by a relative of the family to the 24000 block of Quimby Oaks Place in Aldie around 12:10 p.m. for a shooting. The woman was already dead when they arrived.

Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman said Pennsylvania State Police found the man, 60-year-old Roger Bradford, in a rental car in the town of Bedford. Officials said the man told a relative about the shooting of his wife, 54-year-old Lisa, and the relative then contacted police.

Officials said the pair had three children. The man also had a previous criminal history, but authorities have not located previous domestic-related incidents thus far in the investigation.
