Holly Astegher
OBITUARY
Holly Astegher, 48, of Tunkhannock, passed away on Wednesday.
Holly was a longtime resident of Clifford before relocating to her new home in Tunkhannock. A graduate of Mountain View High School and Lackawanna College, Holly was a valued employee of Lackawanna Valley Dermatology Associates in Scranton, where she was their billing manager. She enjoyed reading and baking but her true passion in life was being a devoted mom. Always present in her boy’s lives she never missed any of their sporting events and she was proud of the young men they became.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Rob Astegher; her father and step-mother: Leo and Judy Piasecki; her two sons: Zachary Polovitch and girlfriend, Maggie Morrison and Adam Polovitch; one daughter: Hailey Kruse and husband, Ethan; two grandchildren: Harper and Emerson Kruse; one sister: Kelly Kasdaglis and husband, Nicolas; two brothers: Christopher Piasecki and wife, Amy and Conner Piasecki and fiancée, Molly Hunt; one step-brother: Jeremy Polovitch and wife, Bethany; Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Holly was preceded in death by her mother: Robin Barrows Piasecki.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford. Funeral services will begin at 5:00 p.m. and interment next to her mother will follow at the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
