Tractor-trailer crash closes inbound President Biden Expressway

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — A tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from Interstate 81 northbound to the President Biden Expressway, closing the ramp and causing major delays into Scranton.

The crash was reported shortly after 8 a.m. at Exit 185. The truck is on its side on the curve leading into downtown, according to traffic alerts.

Crews are at the scene. Traffic is backed up along the full length of the President Biden Expressway and onto I-81 southbound toward Dunmore.

Drivers headed into the city should expect significant delays and consider alternate routes.
