Portions of State Route 22 in Lehigh County will close this weekend due to planned roadwork, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The closures will begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, on State Route 22 in both directions between State Route 22 and State Route 191.
Then, on Sunday, Sept. 27, State Route 22 will be closed in both directions from the State Route 191 exit to the State Route 22 interchange. This road closure will be in place from midnight to 4 a.m.
Officials said drivers traveling eastbound will be able to exit onto State Route 191, while drivers traveling westbound will be able to exit onto State Route 33 in either direction.
Drivers can expect traffic delays and are encouraged to visit 511PA for the latest road conditions.
