A 78-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon after a large tree limb fell on him outside his Upper Milford Township home.
The man was working outdoors when the tree limb fell about 50 feet and hit him, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release.
The man was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead about 4:45 p.m. His cause of death was blunt-force injuries, with the manner accidental.
Buglio said the man has been identified, but he will not be identifying him Thursday to let his family grieve privately.
