Public Financial Management, or PFM, the consulting firm working with the City of Erie to overcome a $12 million budget deficit, will be back in town tomorrow to make its next recommendations.
And the public is invited to sit in on a study session at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in City Council chambers.
We’ve reported that Mayor Daria Devlin’s administration already cut $3 million in spending for this year, eliminating six positions and asking each department to reduce costs.
Now that PFM has audited every city department, they’ll share their recommendations for how Erie can solve its long-term financial challenges.
Again, that study session is open to the public.
