WYOMISSING, Pa. — The best way for prospective students to know if a college is right for them is by visiting the campus in person; however, distance and other issues can create challenges. To ensure all prospective students have access to a campus visit, Penn State Berks offers a new virtual tour. The eight-minute video showcases the highlights of the campus, building by building, and the tour is led by Lion Ambassador student tour guides.

In addition to the main virtual tour, there are additional breakout features on athletics, engineering and science for students with a specific interest in learning more about these areas.

Lion Ambassadors give an engaging introduction and narrate the building tours, pointing out the highlights of the campus and the offices and services students will use most often.

The video covers the programs and facilities located within each of the college’s main academic buildings, including the Luerssen Science Building, the Thun Library and Information Commons, the Franco Building and the Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building. It also showcases the Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center, Perkins Student Center, Tully’s cafeteria, the Cyber Café and the residence halls.

The Penn State Berks virtual tour can be viewed on the college’s YouTube channel. Prospective students and families are also encouraged to schedule an in-person visit via the Penn State Berks website.
