Berks Board of Elections OKs polling location in Hamburg | Reading Area

READING, Pa. – The Berks County Board of Elections voted Thursday to approve a permanent polling place change in the Borough of Hamburg.

Voters residing in Precinct 2 of the borough will have its polling location moved to the Hamburg Field House, 125 South Primrose St., from the previous location at the borough building.

Chairman Michael Rivera said the change came from a request from the borough because it is reorganizing its space and had two precincts with polling places in the borough hall.

Rivera said having two locations too close together would be confusing and that the fieldhouse is located within the Second Precinct.

The general election will be held on Nov. 3. Control of the U.S. House and Senate are up for grabs.
