FLEETWOOD, Pa. – After Exeter’s Giulia Weisser won the girl’s gold in the Berks County golf championships, the boy’s final round played out this afternoon at Golden Oaks.
Fleetwood’s Cameron Peffel finished in first overall with a total score of 108, even par for the tournament.
“It feels really good I mean I knew I was good enough to do this and now I finally done it so uh yeah,” Peffel said speaking on the support from his parents. “Oh it’s great, they truly do a lot for me you know whenever I wanna go play I know this isn’t a very cheap game to play but you know they support me and you know whatever I wanna do and I’m forever grateful for them.”
Muhlenberg’s Billy Nikolaidis finished in second with a 110 in the AAA field.
Zach Cramprton from Tulpehocken finished in first for the AA tournament.
