In a statement, the school district says at least one person got hit with debris and that they were evaluated on scene.
69 News is told the person was not seriously hurt.
“We are grateful to all of the emergency responders and bystanders who quickly offered assistance and help,” the statement reads.
The district says it won’t be having a bonfire in the future.
