At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Sept. 15-25.
Two critical violations
Butch’s Diner, 37 Vine St., (Food reported slimy, moldy and spoiled, food not dated properly). Also three noncritical violations. Sept. 23.
One critical violation
Center Street Evangelical Church, 921 N. Center St., (Handwashing sink leaking and not available for use). Sept. 23.
One noncritical violation
Saint Luke School Cafeteria, 425 E. 38th St. Sept. 22.
