BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – The Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department released details about the Annual Temple Halloween Parade this weekend.

The parade is a tradition for the Temple Community. This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, October 4 at 4:00 p.m., according to a news release from the department.

Department officials say the parade will follow Sharp Ave. down to Kutztown Rd., make a left, and head north on Kutztown Rd. to Mt. Laurel Ave., make a left onto Mt. Laurel, and disband at 7th Avenue.

According to the release, the parade will feature several local high school bands, car groups, fire trucks from around Berks County, floats designed by local businesses, and various community youth groups.

The parade should last about 2 hours, the township says. Some food vendors will be stationed along the parade route.
