YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An inmate at York County Prison was charged with homicide on Wednesday following the death of 19-year-old inmate earlier this year.

Ahdoneeyah Fears, 19, is accused of killing Jacob Brady in their shared cell, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

On April 14, the York Criminal Investigation Unit began looking into Brady’s death.

Correctional officers said they found Brady’s body underneath his bunk bed.

The York County Coroner’s Office said Brady’s cause of death was blunt force trauma and strangulation.

Fears was originally sent to York County Prison for allegedly stabbing his father to death in June 2025.
