It’s a big day for an Erie favorite. Odis 12 is officially cutting the ribbon on its brand-new location.

It’s inside EMTA’s Joint Operations Facility along East 14th Street. This new partnership inside a transit hub is a move they are excited about.

A ribbon snap marked the start of Odis 12’s next chapter, opening its new Midcity Strip location inside EMTA’s Joint Operations Facility.

A bright, modern space is the perfect recipe to cook up a new beginning for the restaurant, built to handle both quick rider traffic and the lunchtime rush.

“To be back in the city, the heart of the city, you know what I mean? I’m from here. I was born and raised here. We do a lot of giving back here to local sports, cheerleaders, softball, baseball, basketball, gloves, whatever we do. We give back, and I just love giving back to the Erie community.” Mike Miodis, the owner of Odis 12 said.

Staff from both Odis 12 and EMTA say this partnership brings new energy to 127 East 14th Street, adding a local favorite to the corridor. The restaurant has been customizing the space since 2025. When it was ready for everyone, they did not want to waste any time.

“Our vision for 14th Street, I mentioned, was a long time ago to make this an entertainment district. We wanted to clean up the area, develop the area, and make it an area that people want to go to and are attracted to.” Jeremy Peterson, the CEO of the EMTA said.

This expansion of a beloved Erie restaurant can pave the way for future development for the Midcity Strip.

And with a big community turnout on Wednesday, this just shows Erie is excited for what’s to come. The team behind Odis 12 and EMTA say they’re thrilled to open the doors, and it’s a win for both riders and the neighborhood. The Midcity Strip location is officially open as of this morning.
