Tensions continue to rise as the trial for former state parole agent, Kevin Seelinger, quickly approaches.
This is one of the most high-profile cases that Erie has seen in years and the trial is expected to bring a large turnout, possibly even filling the courtroom.

Erie County officials said they are prepared to manage the amount of attention this trial is expected to bring.
“I’ve been here 30 years; we’ve had many, many high-profile trials over that time. This one, probably being the most high-profile that I’ve seen in my career, but as usual, we’ll handle it and we’ll take the proper measures necessary to complete this mission,” said Erie County Sheriff Chris Campanelli.
The trial of Kevin Seelinger is projected to begin within the next week.
