HANOVER TWP., Pa. – The ribbon has been cut, and Kerry coffee is now flowing in Hanover Township.
“This is a significant investment for us,” said Will Kelly, vice president of beverage taste.
Kelly said the Ireland-based company’s nearly 50,000-square-foot new coffee extraction facility is a core part of its footprint in the U.S.
“You know, our ambition is to grow this significantly. We have built it in a modular way, so it’s primed for expansion; it’s primed for growth,” said Kelly.
The company said one billion cups of coffee will be made here.
“This is a huge, huge milestone for Kerry. Look, we acquired the site in 2025, and it’s been a journey over the last 18 months to get it,” said Dan Silva, Kerry North America vice president of operations.
Around 50 employees will work at this facility. Silva said the Lehigh Valley offers a unique opportunity.
“Not only the facility here, but really Bethlehem has provided us with the people, technology, and capacity to deliver to our customers,” said Silva.
It all comes as Kerry said it is seeing high demand.
“For us, this is about bringing craft coffee at scale. Coffee is a ritual; people are precious about their coffee, you know it’s a highly personalized product, but it also is a very universal product,” said Kelly.
