Catholic Bishop Mark Eckman greets Medallion Ball honorees in Fox Chapel

The Bishop’s Tea, an event leading up to Pittsburgh’s’s annual Medallion Ball, was held Sept. 21 at the Pittsburgh Field Club.

The Most Reverend Mark Eckman, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, addressed the ball candidates after meeting them and their mothers in a receiving line.

This year, 128 young women who volunteered more than a total of 20,000 hours will be presented the Joan of Arc medallion at the Medallion Ball on Nov. 27 at the Wyndham Grand in Downtown Pittsburgh.
