A man was shot early Saturday morning outside a Strip District bar, according to Pittsburgh police.
Officers found a male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen around 1:45 a.m. in the 1500 block of Penn Avenue outside the Real Luck Cafe, also known as Lucky’s Bar.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and immediately taken into surgery, authorities said.
Police said a male suspect fled on foot. At the scene, officers said they found shell casings. One witness was taken in for an interview, police said. No arrests have been announced.
The bar is between 15th and 16th streets in the Strip District.
