Happening this weekend in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Beautiful fall weather will be shining over several festivals this weekend.

Roxborough’s largest street festival takes over iconic Ridge Avenue Saturday.

Roxtoberfest features food, drink, live music, local beer, fall fun and local vendors.

It runs from noon to 6 p.m.

Saturday is also the 20th annual Mutt Strut at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia.

Dog owners are invited to bring their four-legged friends for a festive mile-and-a-half walk.

It kicks off at noon and includes live music, food trucks and a Halloween costume contest for dogs.

The event benefits PAWS, the city’s largest rescue partner.

Finally, Councilmember Jeffery Young Jr. is hosting the 3rd Annual Norf Philly Day Saturday.

Entertainment and family friendly activities run from noon to 7 p.m. at 29th & Chalmers Park.
