If you’re looking for some amazing authentic German food, Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the place to be.
Oktoberfest kicked off Friday night with Father Larry tapping the keg live here on JET Action News.

The two-day event features lots of German food, a beer and wine tent, live music, a wiener dog race, a BMW raffle and a kids zone.
Proceeds from the event support the parishes of Saint Luke and Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
“This is our last big festival of the season, it’s also the first weekend of October and you never know how the weather is going to be, so I threatened all the weatherman and said listen, make sure the weather is good,” said Father Larry Richards.
Admission is free. Oktoberfest continues from noon until 11 p.m. on Saturday.
