Parts of I-76 to close as crews get ready to demolish Market Street Bridge

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Parts of I-76 will be closed Sunday night into Monday as crews get closer to demolishing Market Street Bridge.

Starting Sunday night, the Schuylkill Expressway will close between the I-676 and 30th Street interchanges.

The closures will run from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. each night through Thursday.

Either the eastbound or westbound lanes will close, depending on where crews are working.

Then, both directions of I-76 will close next weekend.
