PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The Philadelphia Fire Department kicked off Fire Prevention Week by helping students learn how to practice fire safety.
Officials were at John Hartranft School in North Philadelphia Monday morning to share important lessons with kids.
The goal is to make sure the kids know how to practice fire safety both at school and at home.
They held a fire drill, then discussed safety habits.
This year, there is a focus on how to safely use lithium-ion batteries.
