CBS News Philadelphia reporter Eva Andersen already has multiple Emmys to her name. She should make room on her mantel for another one after an absolute tour de force in the Lincoln Financial Field parking lot.
Inside Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles found themselves in a 4th-and-goal. They held a 20-10 lead over the Los Angeles Rams midway through the fourth quarter, and head coach Nick Sirianni decided to go for it rather than kick a field goal.
Jalen Hurts’ pass fell incomplete, and the Rams never looked back, winning 24-20.
Afterward, disgruntled Eagles fans flooded out of the stadium, where Andersen collected money quote after money quote.
Eagles fans weren’t happy with Nick Sirianni’s coaching performance in the team’s 24-20 loss to the Rams.

“Bad! Just bad! Not it for us, just not it!”
“So depressing!”
“We should’ve won that game!”
“I didn’t like it. I mean, why would you waste time, like — man, I don’t want to talk about it.”
Sirianni caught the brunt of it, with fans fully turning on him after a wonky 2-2 start to the 2026 NFL season.
“Coach doesn’t kick a field goal,” one particularly peeved fan said, as another mean-mugging fan stood behind him. “It’s bad coaching again. Sirianni blew the game again, for the utmost time.”
One fan said, “Nick Sirianni gotta go,” while another struggled to get through his point, even though he really meant it. “Nick ain’t it,” he said. “Nick is cute. He’s angry. He can scream, but he doesn’t make the team come out of halftime and be the team. What’s happening at halftime? Are we eating meatball subs?”
It wasn’t all cynical, however, as the CBS News Philadelphia package ended with an adorable, fully face-painted young fan mustering a “Go Birds” into the microphone.
