Woman charged after allegedly starting 2 fires outside home

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A woman is now accused of starting two separate fires outside of the same home in the Cedarbrook section of Philadelphia.
Lesha Jernigan, 36, is facing numerous charges, including arson.
Authorities were first called to the block of 8200 Williams Avenue on September 21.
Police responded to another fire at the same location four days later.
In one instance, a good Samaritan extinguished the flames using a child’s toy filled with rainwater.
Sources tell Action News that Jernigan’s motivation was domestic in nature.
