Parent hit by car during National Walk and Roll to School Day in South Philly

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — National Walk and Roll to school day took a scary turn in South Philadelphia Wednesday morning when a man was hit by a car.
It happened at Front and Christian streets as students, staff and parents from the Meredith School were making their way through.
A parent who was working to keep the kids safe was hit by a Gray Jeep.
He was evaluated by EMTs at the scene, but not seriously hurt.
No students were injured.
