A motorcyclist died Thursday afternoon following a collision involving a second vehicle in Erie County.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on October 8 when a motorcycle and a vehicle collided.
The motorcyclist, identified as 39-year-old Lamar Smith of Erie, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:50 p.m. by Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook.
Additional information regarding the condition of anyone else involved has not yet been released.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and remained in the area.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
