BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Investigators with Bethlehem Police Department are trying to identify the man responsible for firing nearly a dozen shots following a youth sporting event.

On November 8, just before 4:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Rodgers and Lewis streets for reports of multiple shots fired.

Police say the incident, which occurred adjacent to Sell Field, happened shortly after the conclusion of a youth football championship game attended by several hundred people.

Witnesses allege that an argument took place after the game, during which a man dressed in black fired multiple shots into the air before fleeing in a black sedan with tinted windows. Police recovered nine shell casings from the scene.

Authorities say there were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Bethlehem Police at 610-865-7000, or submit an anonymous tip through the department’s tip line at 610-691-6660.
