Woman shot, killed in front of her baby in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) — A 22-year-old woman was shot and killed inside an Allentown home in front of her baby.

Police were called to the 700 block of Turner Street just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say the victim’s ex-boyfriend, Adam Makowka, was arrested in connection with her killing.

The victim’s baby and another man were in the room when the suspect allegedly opened fire.

Makowka was taken into custody about an hour later.

He is being charged with criminal homicide, attempted homicide and two counts of aggravated assault.
