A longtime Erie tradition returned this weekend, giving people a chance to indulge in homemade Polish food.
St. Stanislas Parish hosted its annual Taste of Poland Dinner. The event features a traditional Polish dish with favorites such as golumpki, kielbasa, pierogis, and other staples.
Every dish was prepared by the parish’s cooks.
“Everything is homemade, everything goes to the parish, it’s great, it’s great to see all these people coming together,” said Becky Sienkiewicz, head cook for St. Stanislas Parish.
The annual event gives community members a chance to enjoy homemade Polish cuisine while supporting the parish.
