ALLENTOWN, Pa. – We are less than 25 days out from the midterm election, and local campaigning continues in the Lehigh Valley.

On Sunday, Representative Ryan Mackenzie spoke with supporters and volunteers at his Campaign headquarters in Allentown. He was joined by Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters.

At the event, Mackenzie emphasized the importance of getting out to vote before volunteers went door to door in the neighborhood.

“We have to get the message out to all of our volunteers, all of our supporters, all of the Republicans who maybe don’t even regularly vote in elections like this. The consequences and the stakes are just too high to leave your vote on the table,” he explained.

69 News reached out to Mackenzie’s opponent Bob Brooks, and heard back from his campaign.

“No amount of national Republican officials jetting into town will save him from his record of rising costs and being a lapdog for Trump. Bob is running through the tape and excited to deliver for the people in PA-07 in Congress, for a change,” Brook’s team said.
