Harrowing video captured the moment people screamed and ran for their lives as gunshots rang out from from the Erie, Pennsylvania home where a grandfather massacred nine people, including three generations of his family.
The doorbell footage, obtained by Your Erie, shows two women run across a yard on Perry Street on Friday to check out some sort of commotion when someone suddenly lets out a blood-curdling scream of “Oh my God!”
Children can be heard screaming as the two women sprint back across the lawn away from the gunfire. One person yells at the neighbors to get back inside their houses before the dramatic clip cuts off.

Police on Monday identified the gunman as Matthew Stone Sr., 45, who slaughtered three generations of his family and two family friends before he then took his own life on Friday evening.
The victims included his wife Michelle Stone, 44, and three kids Matthew Stone Jr., 21, Jonathan Stone, 19, and Angelina Stone, 24, who was due to give birth this Wednesday to her third child, Kyrie, who was included in the tally of the dead.
The fiend also killed Angelina’s 5-year-old son Isiah and 1-year-old daughter Amari’anna in addition to two women who tried to stop the carnage, Lora Roberts, 37, and family friend Twila Tanner, 51.
The motive remains under investigation, with police only suggesting mental health could have been a factor. Investigators said they were interviewing relatives to determine what may have happened.
The mass shooting unfolded shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday in a home on the east side of the lakeside city about 100 miles southwest of Buffalo.
Investigators told reporters that they had reviewed footage that showed gunshots were fired in the home before Roberts and Tanner, appearing “distressed,” began banging on the door of the house, police said.

The 45-year-old killer came outside and shot them dead before going back into the house, where he shot himself dead in an upstairs area, according to authorities
Cops rushed over to the home and arrived at a horror scene.
Roberts and Tanner were found dead outside and inside they discovered Isaiah and his younger sister Amari’anna’s bodies on the first floor.

Two women and two men were found dead in a stairwell and the body of the shooter was found upstairs, police said.
“It was horrific. It was the worst scene I have ever experienced,” Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah said at an emotional press conference.
Roberts was a frequent visitor to the house who had been helping out during her niece and neighbor Angelina’s pregnancy, while Tanner was the only non-relative caught up in the violence.
