In a news release, ArtsQuest said the artists represent a wide range of visual media, from painting, printmaking, and photography to ceramics, glass, sculpture, and mixed media.
The artists will create, connect, and collaborate alongside fellow local creatives, ArtsQuest said.
ArtsQuest said studio artists will create and exhibit work on-site while helping connect visitors with the artistic process through classes, demonstrations, open studio events, and shared gathering spaces.
Guests will have opportunities to meet artists, watch them work, and purchase original pieces directly from their studios, ArtsQuest said in its news release.
ArtsQuest said it would announce additional details about the ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL grand opening, public programming, and opportunities to meet the studio artists at a later time.
The ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL offers rent-subsidized studios to local artists in an environment designed to foster creativity and collaboration, ArtsQuest said.
“We are excited to welcome a wide range of artists working at all levels of their artistic careers and in a wide range of mediums,” said Lisa Harms, Vice President of Visual Arts and Education at ArtsQuest.
“By offering low-cost, subsidized studio space with 24/7 access for artists, we’re fostering an artistic community with ample space and state of the art facilities to create while building a supportive community where they can exchange ideas, grow their practices and connect the public with the creative process.”
