A man was dead after shots rang out in the 500 block of Avenue B in Reading on Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to the area just before 4 p.m. after neighbors reported hearing a barrage of gunshots.
According to Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams, the incident involved two men who got into a dispute and opened fire on each other.
One of the men was shot and killed.
Adams said the other shooter is cooperating with police.
Adams said the incident is being investigated by Reading police and detectives from his office.
