Scaffolding around Pagoda to come down | Reading Area

READING, Pa. – The scaffolding around the Pagoda atop Mount Penn is coming down.

Renovations on the landmark are wrapping up.

Crews have been working for the past few months on a multimillion dollar upgrade.

Officials told 69 News two weeks ago that the exterior work has been completed. That included painting, roofing and electrical improvements.

Workers also replaced heating and air conditioning systems and did work inside.
