HARRISBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — The fifth Pennsylvania vehicle auction of the year is set to take place this week in Grantville, which they aptly named “Truck Month.”

Approximately 230 used vehicles will be up for public auction Tuesday, Oct. 20, beginning at 10 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania Department of General Services’ Bureau of Vehicle Management.

Included are retired state police vehicles, 4-wheel-drive SUVs, pickups, and utility vehicles from brands such as Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota, GMC, and Jeep, along with sedans, minivans, and seized vehicles from law enforcement agencies.

Nearly 100 of the vehicles being auctioned are pickup trucks, keeping with a tradition of October being “truck month,” the department said.

Pre-registration will close Monday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. The department said cash will not be accepted for registration.

The auction takes place at Manheim Keystone Pennsylvania, 488 Firehouse Road, Grantville.
